It is a known fact that finals week is undoubtedly "an experience"...
(truthfully, throwing fruit really does help...)

It has been quite a while in which I have slept more during the night than the next day.

What comes next...? Can anyone really know...?

Enjoy the present.... it is what life is....

It's a good movie.... great one-liners, yet one must really listen to it with a deaf ear to the extensive language.

Sunday Afternoon in Black & White

...gotta love Sunday afternoon Black & White movies.... (it's a tradition)

Breaking Fire Code... cont.

So... "Button Pusher" joined about halfway through the movie.  I henceforth refer to him as this pseudo-name because of his fascination with keeping the elevator in constant movement by pressing the button for every floor...  Due to his love for pushing buttons (along with my lack of desire to keep hopping up to press the button) he was deemed the new "Button Control Manager"...
The final permanent movie watcher was "Late Arrival" who joined while there was about 25 minutes left in the movie.  It was not very difficult to bring "Late Arrival" up to speed on the movie because we had developed a short rundown on what happened so far in the movie (this was due to the fact that just about every elevator occupant -- in their shame -- would ask what was going on in the movie) ...
All of the preceding events had developed into me holding the computer at a level at which everyone could see it.... this continued until the end of the movie.

**Legal Disclaimer: Even with all the occupants the elevator continued to function effeciently and we never exceeded the total weight limit of the elevator.**

(C1 and C2 were originally available before the arrival of "button pusher" and "Late Arrival")

It just goes to show all of the fun that can be had on a 4' X 6' elevator after midnight....

Breaking Fire Code And Not Looking Back!

So... what could be more fun than deciding to watch a random movie at 12:30am -- well, you could always watch it while working as an elevator bellhop. So me and  (--unsaid  neighboring  hallmate--)  decided that 12:30 was too early to go to bead, thus  we did what every logical human being would do... watch a movie..

(Enter the elevator)

Said elevator comes into play when we decided to watch the movie in the elevator just for kicks and because the acoustic are better for unsaid neighbors laptop...  Unsaid neighbor, which I shall henceforth refer to as U.N., held the computer while I would greet the elevator guest and request which level they disired to go to...  While traveling between floors we would invite any occupants to join us for the movie --- usually this was refused (truely we live in much too busy of a world... I mean come on who wouldn't want to join two random people in an elevator to watch a humorous movie...)  ...what suprised me the most was that not a single person that came through had even heard of Evolution... What a sad world we live in...  *this is a good point to rant on the disappearance of good movie from our society*  when I search for this movie on the Xanga "Currently Watching" section... I had to scroll through 125 different movies before "Evolution" (with the yellow smiley) appeared...

----------Note to everyone who has not seen the movie -----
-------STOP!  Go watch the movie and then continue reading this------

Back to the elevator...
Finally after many occupants had utilzed our services...two (which I shall refer to as The Two )finally took us up on our perpetual offer.  Thus the elevator now held two chairs (which had been in the elevator before U.N. and myself had entered it), U.N., myself, and The Two -- all in a 4' X 6' elevator.... oh, and it gets even better....

As time went on, we got some strange faces from people when the elevator door would open and they would be greeted by "What floor are you headed to?"  -- the fact that we were watching a movie titled "Evolution" only made things better --- and to conclude our short ritual with the salutation of "Enjoy the rest of your morning..."   Some people (especially those who are not from this glorious building) took this string of events to be quite strange, yet others would join us for a few scenes of the movie...

(Enter the last two regulars)
The story of the last two regulars begins with the entrance of "Button Pusher"... being about halfway through the movie

=-------I'm going to bed.... you'll get the rest of the story later ------
